Animal Husbandry Department organizes treatment camp at Sapi village
Kargil, October 15, 2022: Animal Husbandry Department Kargil today organized a treatment camp at Sapi village under the ambit of an outreach program to provide veterinary services at the doorsteps of farmers/breeders.
Large numbers of farmers/breeders participated in the program. The doctors of the Animal Husbandry Department Kargil treated a large number of public livestock for various ailments.
During the program, medicines were provided free of cost and at subsidized price. People were made aware of lumpy skin disease (a viral disease that affects cattle) its causes, prevention and control measures.
