LSSSB Conducts Counselling for Provisionally Shortlisted Candidates Under Matriculation Level Examination

Leh, December 15, 2025:

The Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSB) successfully conducted the counselling process for provisionally shortlisted candidates under the Matriculation Level Examination at the District Panchayat Resource Centre, Agling, Leh. The counselling was held for 99 posts advertised under the examination.

The counselling exercise was organised to obtain post and department preferences from the shortlisted candidates. During the process, candidates were given the opportunity to select posts strictly in accordance with their merit ranking. Candidates with higher merit were accorded priority, following which others were allowed to choose departments of their preference against the available vacancies.

The entire counselling process was conducted in a transparent, fair, and orderly manner in strict adherence to the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring equal opportunity for all candidates.

Shri Michael M. D’Souza, IAS, Board Member, along with Dr. Zahida Bano, Secretary, LSSSB, and other Board officers were present to supervise and oversee the counselling exercise.

The successful conduct of the counselling reflects LSSSB’s commitment to maintaining transparency, fairness, and efficiency in the recruitment process.
