Block-level training program on revamped GPDP, Mission Antyodaya 2022 held at Block Taisuru

Kargil, Jan 12, 2023: The newly joined Block Development Officer Taisuru, Rukhsar Ahmad Shah today conducted a block-level training program on revamped Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) and Mission Antyodaya 2022, for members of Block Development Council for FY 2023-24.

It was aimed to achieve localization of sustainable goals. The program focused exclusively on Peopleโ€™s Plan Campaign-2022 for the preparation of thematic GPDP under Localized Sustainable Development Goals (LSDGs) mapped into nine themes by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.

The thematic approach to GPDP and BPDP with focus on LSDGs would ensure convergence of resources and augment community participation at the Panchayat level in consonance with all stakeholders and line departments. It is also aimed to achieve saturation on all SDGs by 2030.

During the program, the participants were sensitized about the Mission Antyodaya Survey and Block Level Officers of line departments were requested to provide correct data for successfully and effectively carrying out the Revamped Mission Antyodaya Survey 2022.
