CEC, ECs, DC, beneficiaries of Central Sponsored schemes attend Hon’ble Prime Minister’s virtual interaction in Kargil

KARGIL, MAY 31, 2022:

 

Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan, Executive Councilors, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve among other district officers, beneficiaries of various Central Sponsored schemes today attended the virtual interaction of Hon’ble Prime Minister on PM Gharib Kalyan Sammelan from Shimla, here at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.

 

Besides the CEC Kargil, Executive Councillor for works Aga Syed Abass Rizvi, Executive Councillor for Social Welfare Agha Syed Hassan Armaan, DC and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, Director Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (RD& PRD) Tahir Hussain Zabdavi, SE Hydraulics Er Tashi Tundup, Project Officer ICDS, ACD Ghulam Mohd, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Abdul Ghafar Zargar, other district officers, BDC Chairpersons, PRI Members, Ex-servicemen, civil society organizations and beneficiaries of different Centrally Sponsored Schemes attended the Gharib Sammelan virtually.

As a part of this momentous occasion, Hon’ble Prime Minister interacted with the beneficiaries of about sixteen schemes/Programs spanning nine Ministries/Departments of the Government of India.

 

District Kargil was proud to be a part of this August event and had made all the necessary arrangements for the program.

 

All concerned departments of District Kargil installed exhibition cum awareness stalls of Centrally Sponsored Schemes outside the Auditorium Hall.

 

The CEC Kargil, EC Abass, and DC Kargil inspected the stalls set up by various departments of various schemes and reviewed their achievements.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the CEC Khan congratulated the District Officers for successful implementation of the schemes in all over the district.

 

After the Hon’ble Prime Ministers virtual address, the CEC Khan expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister regarding virtual interaction on Central Sponsored Schemes and also spoke about the contribution of LAHDC Kargil in implementation of these schemes.

 

He also mentioned the achievements of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) which is aimed to provide functional tap connection to all households in the district by August 15, 2022. The CEC also appreciated the efforts of the PHE Department for successful implementation of the scheme which has achieved a good result.

 

DC Santosh mentioned that the District Administration is providing aid and benefits to beneficiaries across the district under various schemes which is extended from providing health shield, financial assistance for house, water connection, sanitation, and financial assistance for business and livelihood.

 

He urged the PRI members, BDCs and beneficiaries of schemes to spread awareness among other people in their areas so that they avail benefits under these schemes. The Deputy Commissioner further said that a single person can take benefits under various schemes.
