CEC Feroz Khan reviews achievements under Subsidy Component 2022-23

Kargil, Feb 02, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan today reviewed the physical and financial achievements under Subsidy Component 2022-23 and discussed incorporating new projects, schemes and units under Subsidy Component 2023-2024 at Conference Hall, Council Secretariat.

Executive Councilor Tourism, Er. Phunchok Tashi, EC Health Mohsin Ali, EC Social Welfare, Syed Mehdi Fazily, Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve besides sectorial heads of different departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the CEC took a detailed review of the physical and financial progress achieved till date from the officials of the respective departments.

The officials furnished detailed figures of expenditure achieved, anticipated expenditure and total expenditure achieved in the year 2022-23 under the Subsidy Component.

It was informed that the total expenditure achieved under Subsidy Component till date is 55 percent.

While expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved till date, the CEC directed officers to book maximum expenditure up to the end of the current financial year to utilize the maximum budget allocation.

Khan also said Councilors will be requested to project demands under the subsidy component keeping in view the larger interest of the general public. The meeting also discussed various new projects to be incorporated under Subsidy Component for the financial year 2023-24.
