CEC Feroz Khan visits Govt. Middle School Karith
KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 14, 2022: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan today visited Government Middle School Karith to felicitate the national awardee teachers Mohd Jabir and Mohammad Ali Akhone.
The CEC was accompanied with Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, Constituency Councillor, Kacho Feroz, CPO Abdul Hadi, Sarpanch Akhone Yousuf, villagers, students and faculty members of the school were present on the occasion.
During the visit, the CEC along DC Kargil inspected the Science Room, Mathematics Room, Language Room, S. Studies Room, Games Room, Kindergarten, Library and Smart Class.
They were impressed by the management of the subject-specific classrooms and appreciated the efforts of the school staff as well.
On the occasion, CEC Khan congratulated the national awarded teachers for developing creative concepts and teaching methods at the school which has attracted the students.
The CEC said such teachers must be deployed for additional classes in other Middle Schools of the district to give suggestions for the betterment of teaching and learning and infrastructure development.
While responding to the demands of the villagers and faculty members of school, CEC Khan announced Rs 5 lakh for the school.
Earlier, the faculty members demanded a sound system and additional smart class to which the Deputy Commissioner assured to provide it within a month.
DC Kargil assured the installation of central heating system and LED TV for the school.
DC Santosh hoped for the same dedication in other schools of the district. He appreciated the community involvement of the villagers and role of Youth for Unity and Welfare Action (YUWA), Karith.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Mohammad Ali.
Later, the CEC and DC visited flood-affected High School, Tacha where the teachers demanded early restoration of toilet, water, temporary bridge, footpath, smart class, compound walling and funds for Teaching Learning Materials.
The DC directed the concerned officers to restore the water supply, toilet and other issues on priority basis.
