DC Kargil chairs review meeting of budget schemes

KARGIL, SEPTEMBER 12, 2022:

Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a review meeting of CAPITAL Budget 2022-23, CAPEX Budget LAHDC, CAPEX Budget State/UT , SDP, Subsidy Scheme of LAHDC, UT Budget, languishing projects, and all Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) in his office chamber.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Kargil, Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), Chief Horticulture Officer (CHO), Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, District Soil Conservation Officer and Director Command Area Development.

During the meeting, officers from the concerned department apprised DC Kargil regarding the physical and financial progress achieved on ongoing developmental works

A detailed discussion was held on the ongoing works under various schemes, AA cost with AA status, allotment cost, status of DPRs, allotment cost, outlay and various other technical aspects.

DC Kargil instructed the concerned officers to ensure completion of 100 percent works which are almost at the completion stage within this working season.

The Deputy Commissioner Kargil also directed the concerned officers to book maximum expenditure of the works as soon as possible.

DC Kargil stressed upon officers to prepare pamphlets of the various welfare schemes of the government and circulate them in various social media platforms to aware people about the same. He also said that beneficiaries should get the maximum benefit of the schemes.

DC Santosh also directed the concerned officers to avoid surrendering of the budget, especially of the subsidy component.
