DC Kargil reviews preparations for Republic Day celebration
Directs concerned officers for smooth conduct of the event
Kargil, Jan 09, 2023:
Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting of officers regarding the arrangements being put in place by the District Administration for the celebration of Republic Day 2023 in the district.
ACR, Officers of Health, Education, Information, Culture, Police Department, Executive Engineer R&B and PHE, besides other concerned officers of various departments were present during the meeting.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on various aspects related to the necessary arrangements like decoration of main venue, invitations, seating, PA system, power supply, drinking water, medical facilities, availability of ambulances, cleanliness and sanitation, traffic management and other required arrangements.
Addressing the meeting, DC Kargil passed several directions to the concerned officers for smooth conduct of the National event with fervor and gaiety.
The DC directed the concerned officers of Culture Academy and Education Department for at least four cultural programs from both departments on Republic Day.
Concerned Officer of Mechanical Department was directed to clear snow at site of Republic Day celebrations in Kargil, sub-division, block level and for the availability of DG set.
AD Information was instructed for the availability of PA system. PDD department was directed to ensure the uninterrupted electricity supply. CMO Kargil was instructed for the availability of ambulances and other medical requirements at the venue.
DC Santosh stressed on officers to put in place all necessary arrangements for the smooth functioning of the Republic Day celebrations.
