DC Kargil reviews progress of shifting District Hospital Kargil to 300 bedded hospital Kurbathang

KARGIL, OCTOBER 13, 2022: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a review meeting regarding progress of shifting of District Hospital Kargil to newly constructed 300 bedded hospital at Kurbathang.

The meeting was attended by

Superintending Engineer R&B,

Chief Planning Officer Abdul Hadi, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Engineer PHE, Executive Engineer Electric Distribution Division, Executive Engineer Mechanical and Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Kargil.

During the meeting, DC Santosh inspected the work progress of every section of the 300 bedded hospital and sought details about the ongoing works by the concerned departments.

He directed that all pending works should be completed and the sections should be functional before October 20 and directed to present requirements for early approval.

The DC gave deadline to Mechanical Department to complete the work by 17 October. He also instructed to complete elevator work and ensure its functioning before 25 October.

DC Santosh directed the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital to closely monitor the progress of shifting of various departments to 300 bedded hospital and ensure that all the formalities are put in place before the timelines prescribed by the administration. Further, the MS was asked to submit daily updates of progress on shifting.

The Deputy Commissioner also stressed to speed up work progress by using extra manpower and work in double shifts to make the shifting successful on proper time.
