DC Kargil reviews status of stock, supply position of essential commodities for winter season

 

KARGIL, OCTOBER 25, 2021: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the status of supply and stock position of essential commodities by different departments in the district.

 

Superintending Engineer PWD Er Tashi Tundup, Executive Engineer PHE Er Subhash Chandra, Chief Medical Officer Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, Deputy Director Cooperatives Dr Zakir Hussain, Chief Agriculture Officer Muhammad Ali Khan, Chief Horticulture Officer Ali Raza, Executive Engineer Mechanical Muhammad Hassan besides other district officers attended the meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner enquired about the status of supply and stock position of various essential commodities by different departments in the district.

 

The officers gave detailed account of the  stocking of items for winter season including ration commodities, cattle feed, poultry feed, firewood, medicines and other necessary items.

 

The DC also took stock of the stocking in Zanskar Sub Division and instructed the concerned officers to ensure there remains no shortfall or understocking of any items for the winter season.

 

The meeting was informed that around 70 percent of the stocking has already been  completed while only few items are left the stocking of which will be completed by November 10.

 

The CMO informed that 8 consignments of medicines and surgical disposals have already received while another 5 are yet to be collected in the district once the Zojila Pass is reopened for vehicular traffic.
