DC Kargil reviews the functioning of PDD, Tourism, Forest and Wildlife Departments
Kargil, July 24, 2023: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Shrikant Suse today chaired a review meeting of District Capex with various departments in his Office Chamber.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Kargil, and concerned officers of Tourism, Kargil Development Authority, Forest, Wildlife, Soil Conservation Department, Electric Distribution Division and STD.
During the meeting, officers from the concerned department apprised DC Kargil regarding the physical status achieved on ongoing developmental works under district capex.
A detailed discussion was held on the status of ongoing works, preparation of DPRs for new works, status of tendering ,allotment etc.
DC Kargil instructed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of ongoing works and approvals for new works to ensure optimum utilization of funds.
While reviewing tourism sector, He stressed on development of quality infrastructure in tourism sector and amenities for tourists.
He directed forest Department to ensure that plantation drives targets are achieved as per timeline.
Detailed discussion held on current progress of power development Department, wildlife Department as well as soil conservation.
