DC Leh chairs District Road Safety Committee meeting
Leh, Jan 31: Deputy Commissioner, Leh / Chairman District Road Safety Committee, Shrikant Suse chaired a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee today. He directed to improve road markings & signage, improve lighting on Highways near habitations, to set speed limits among others.
Also, directed to remove dangerous roadside objects and hoardings within 100 meters of the National Highway and all other arterial roads which obstruct/distract drivers.
Talking about the upcoming G-20 meeting, DC, Leh directed all the concerned officers to execute all the preparations by April 1.
