DC Leh reviews progress under WDC-PMKSY 2.0, NRLM, MGNREGA, District CAPEX

Leh, Dec 28: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Shrikant Suse convened a meeting to review the progress under Integrated Watershed Development Programme (Watershed Development Component-PMKSY 2.0) today with the concerned district officers.

During the meeting, DC Leh also reviewed the financial and physical achievement of works under District Capex and the implementation and progress in National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA).

DC Leh instructed the concerned officers to inspect the feasibility of projects under WDC-PMKSY 2.0. Regarding this, he also directed the officers to ensure interdepartmental convergence of resources and projects to optimize proper utilization of resources along with promotion of agricultural and horticultural activities to achieve livelihood

generation.

Reviewing the achievements of developmental works under District Capex, DC Leh instructed the officers to achieve 70% expenditure in District Capex by the end of the month.

Additional District Development Officer, Leh; Sub-Divisional Magistrates; Executive Engineer, REW, Leh; District Panchayat Officer, Leh and Block Development Officers; Nodal Officer, IWMP Leh and technical staff of IWMP attended the meeting.
