EC Tashi assesses developmental works in Zanskar town
KARGIL, AUGUST 23, 2022:
Executive Councillor for Tourism, RD and Zanskar Affairs, Er Punchok Tashi today visited town area of Zanskar to assess the status of developmental activities being executed by PWD, RD and Zanskar Development Authority.
The EC was accompanied by incharge SDM Zanskar, BDO Zanskar and Engineers of PWD/RD and ZDA. The EC took the status of ongoing works at L/R Salapi, Nerok, Indoor Stadium, Employees Quarter and Boys Hostel at GDC Zanskar, besides the ongoing works of FCI Godown, Labour Sarai, Labour Guest House and Cooperative Godown.
The EC also visited the under-construction site of SDM Quarter Revenue Complex and Staff Quarter at CHC Padum. The works at all the sites were being carried out with optimum satisfaction and proper specification.
Er Tashi appreciated the Engineers and other workers and stressed to complete the works as per the allotment and directed to complete the works to make public utility within the specified time period and maintain work quality.
The project cost of the above works is to the tune of Rs 30.00 cr and approved under SDP/SS and District Capex.
The concerned agency was also directed to issue a tender for the remaining works at the earliest keeping in view short working season in the subdivision.
