GDC Kargil students stage protest, demands online exam

KARGIL, FEBRUARY 16, 2022:

Government Degree College Kargil, University of Ladakh (UoL) students staged a massive protest at University of Ladakh, Kargil campus demanding online exams.

The students said that the classes were conducted online that suffered their studies because of poor internet connectivity. Now the students are not prepared for facing a full-fledged exam.

While talking to media a student said that they have the syllabus incomplete, while they have not completed the practicals; amidst they are expected to face full-fledged exam., he further added that we have no idea what to do next, we are in a state of dilemma.

Another student said that they have submitted a memorandum to the Controller of Examination but didn’t receive any response yet. Until we receive a positive response in our favour we will continue the protests, said the student.
