National Health Mission, UT Ladakh organizes Blood Donation Drive at SNM Leh.

The NHM, UT Ladakh under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, organised a countrywide mega blood donation drive ‘Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav’ today at SNM Hospital Leh.

Shri Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, UT Ladakh, was the chief guest on the occasion. Tsering Angchuk, Dy. CEC LAHDC Leh, , Thinles Nurboo, Councillor LAHDC Leh, Mission Director, National Health Mission Dr. Iftikhar Chowdhary,CMO Leh, MS SNM leh, other public representatives, Health Department Staff, Blood Donors were present on the occasion.

Dr. Tsering Chorol, Medical Superintendent, SNM Hospital while welcoming the guests and blood donors said that the registrations for the Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav have begun on the E-Raktkosh portal and Aarogya Setu app. The drive would continue till October 1, 2022.

MP Ladakh extended gratitude to blood donors for their timely intervention to save lives. He further appreciated Health and Medical Education Department for their services in every nook and corner of Ladakh.

Dy. CEC also appreciated blood donors for their selfless service to save lives of human.

Meanwhile appreciation certificate and traditional khataqs were distributed among the participants of Blood Donation Drive who registered themselves on eraktkosh.in or Aarogya Setu App.

The State Nodal Officer, Dr. Yangchan thanked Chief guest, other guests, participants and blood donors for their support and cooperation to make the mega blood donation camp a successful one.
