NYK Kargil launches clean India 2.0 campaign 

Kargil, OCTOBER 01, 2022: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Kargil in collaboration with NSS GDC Kargil and MC Kargil, today formally launched the clean India 2.0 campaign in Kargil.

The campaign is schedule to run through out the month of October 2022. It aims to prepare the citizen of India for Amrit Kaal not by just cleaning their houses and surroundings, but also by cleansing their minds of all the hatred, doubts and others negative thoughts.

Mohd Hassan, NSS Program Officer, GDC Kargil briefed the participants about the clean India program and also enlightened them about the importance of cleanliness.

While address the participants Jigmat Spaldon, District Youth Officer, NYK Kargil briefed the participants about the ill effects of plastic and also appealed them to stop using single use of plastic .Swachhata pledge was also administered by Jgmat Spaldon.

After the briefing about the program, a cleanliness drive was conducted at Govt. Middle School New Tumail Colony and it’s surroundings, TV station market and on highway side.

Single use of plastic was collected by NSS Volunteers, NYKS volunteers, MC Kargil sweepers and students of Govt. Middle School New Tumail Colony.
