Addressing the gathering, the CEC congratulated the students, parents, and teaching staff on the upgradation of the school from High School to Higher Secondary School. He acknowledged the crucial role played by HELP Organisation Minji and the Village Committee members in strengthening the quality of education and supporting the overall development of the institution.
Dr. Akhoon highlighted that government schools in Kargil are now being equipped with modern facilities, improved infrastructure, and well-qualified teachers, which has significantly enhanced educational standards and contributed to a rise in student enrolment. He expressed satisfaction over these positive developments and reiterated that LAHDC Kargil remains committed to delivering good governance and quality education at the grassroots level.
The CEC also lauded the students for their impressive cultural performances, which reflected their creativity, confidence, and diverse talents. He further informed that teachers may also be engaged on a contractual basis to meet immediate academic needs.
Regarding infrastructure development, the CEC assured that necessary funds would be allocated for the completion of the remaining school building. He also stated that for the extension of the playground, land identification is required first, after which funds will be sanctioned under the CAPEX budget.
