Polling personnel trained for Bye-Election of 22-Timigam constituency
Leh, Sept 08: The first training of polling personnel assigned for the conduct of the Bye-Election for 22-Timisgam constituency, LAHDC Leh was held at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra, Leh today in presence of Election Officer, LAHDC Leh, Sonam Chosjor.
The training programme is to ensure that the polling personnel are fully trained to ensure that elections are held in a smooth and error free manner.
Nodal Officer Training, Dr Stanzin Rabgais gave detailed information through a presentation highlighting the role and responsibilities of the polling functionaries/officers.
Similarly, Nodal Officer Training and Materials Management, Ayoub Khan imparted training on the functioning and working procedure of EVM-VVPAT to the concerned district employees.
The polling personnel were also provided hands-on training regarding the use of the electronic voting machines (EVMs).
