Rural Development Department Zanskar hands over play fields, parks to the Education Department
KARGIL, JUNE 07, 2021: The Rural Development Department Zanskar handed over play fields/parks to the Zonal Education Officer Zanskar in presence of the Area Development Officer/SDM Zanskar Sonam Dorjay here today.
The play fields/parks have been constructed at various middle schools under the Special Developmental Package (SDP) by the Department of District Youth Services and Sports Kargil.
The said works have been completed at a cost of Rs 5 lakh each at various schools.
Area Development Officer/ SDM Zanskar appreciated the efforts of the BDO Zanskar Tsewang Rigzin and his dedication towards the developmental works in the region in view of the short working season.
SDM Zanskar directed the BDO to complete and handover the remaining works on other schools to the concerned department in due course of time.
