Special Cell for Women Kargil organises awareness cum outreach programme at Chiktan

KARGIL, November 10: Special Cell for Women Kargil organised Second awareness cum outreach programme in collaboration with Ladakh Police at Chiktan.

The programme was attended by Incharge principal Mr Zakir Husain and other teaching staff and Students of Higher secondary school chiktan, Supervisor ICDS project Padma, Awangwadi workers of chiktan block and villagers were present on the occasion.

Cyber Cell incharge SI Dechan Angmo threw light on various forms of cyber frauds.

Special cell for women Kargil Hasina batool aware the participants about different forms of domestic violence, silence on domestic violence, shame and stigma attached to it and impact of the violence on mental health and physical wellbeing.

In addition to it special cell aware the participants about gender and sexuality, gender roles, challenging gender stereotypes discrimination, and gender based violence.
