TLSC Drass organizes Fit India Campaign Marathon
KARGIL, OCTOBER 08, 2021: As a part of the series of events under Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Drass organised Fit India Campaign Marathon in which students from different educational institutions, officers and officials from various departments of the sub division and Karate Club members participated.
Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Drass Deldan Angmo flagged off the Fit India Campaign Marathon which started from KBS Drass and culminated at Munsiff Court Drass.
The participants on the occasion took pledge to include physical activities of 20 minutes in their daily routine.
The marathon was categorized into male and female category. In the female category, Abida Khanam, Mehbooba Rehman and Sajida Banoo bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Muhammad Mujeeb Raza, Muhammad Shahid and Zubair Ahmad bagged the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in the male category respectively.
AdvocateTalib Hussain on behalf of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kargil and TLSC Drass welcomed the participants and thanked all the departments and students for making the event successful. He also briefed about the aims and objectives behind organizing the Fit India Campaign.
The event concluded with the prize distribution among position holders and participants and vote of thanks by the Chairman TLSC Drass on the behalf of DLSA Kargil and TLSC Drass.
