Leh, July 5:
A 3-day training program on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Expenditure, Advance & Transfer (EAT) and Employee Information System (EIS) modules organised by the Directorate of Public Financial Management System (PFMS) Union Territory of Ladakh in collaboration with District Administration, Leh was held at DC, Conference Hall, Leh.
On the occasion, Accounts Officer Public Financial Management System, Leh, Phuntsog Angchok said that the program is aimed to address the issues of the employees and the program will help to solve the difficulties of PFMS. He advised the DDOs to take maximum benefit of the program. He also stressed making the expenditure of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Central Sector Scheme, & Union Territory Schemes for the benefit of the common masses.
Further, he said that they are always there to resolve the difficulties of the departments and added that precautions need to be taken while handling these modules.
Accounts Officer PFMS, Ladakh, senior trainer Barnabas Tiru briefed about the EIS module.
Technical Support Engineer PFMS, Trainer Haseeb Lone gave a presentation on Direct Benefit Transfer (DTB) and EAT modules and also briefed about Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS).
The workshop was attended by Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of the Leh district.
The PFMS is a web-based online software application developed and implemented by the PFMS Division Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure Government of India.
