‘Good Governance Week’ celebrated at Padum

Kargil, Dec 21, 2022:

In connection with the celebration of ‘Good Governance Week’ being observed across Kargil district under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), under the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur” was celebrated today at Tourist Dak Bungalow Padum, Zanskar.

On the fifth day of the ‘Good Governance Week’, the program was observed at Padum in which Panchayat Halqa Padum, Ufti Pibiting and Salapi participated.

During the program, the departments like Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Revenue, Agriculture and Health installed their stalls that showcased the progress and achievement of the respective departments. All the Head of the Departments of the Sub Division attended the program.

During the program, the Revenue Department issued 08 schedule tribe and 03 resident certificates, 15 Aadhaar Cards. 25 Golden Cards were issued by the Health Department.

Agriculture Department issued 22 e-Kyc, 12 physical verifications, 06 land records. Applications for 06 new registrations were recorded during the camp. Medicines for domestic cattle were also available by concerned departments during the camp.
