VidyaGyan conducts entrance exam for free education for meritorious students of Kargil
Kargil, November 05, 2022:
VidyaGyan Leadership Academy (Shiv Nadar Foundation) in collaboration with Rzamba Trust today conducted an entrance examination for 6th standard students at Indoor Stadium Hall Kargil to select meritorious students of Kargil for free education outside Ladakh.
It was informed that VidyaGyan is providing free quality education from 6th to 12th class of the rural and economically weaker section students having annual parent income less than Rs 2 lakh.
Sahil Khanna from Shiv Nadar Foundation said that in the examination, nearly 200 students across Kargil district participated. He said students who qualify for written examination will be called for the next round and qualified students will be provided free education from 6th to 12th and for higher studies and they will be provided support from the Academy.
He said VLA provides all these facilities only for meritorious and economically backward students to provide them a platform to improve their intelligence and skills. Pertinently, this is for the first time that VidyaGyan conducted such an examination in Kargil.
