76th Independence Day celebrates at Shakar Chiktan sub division

Kargil 15 August: Sub Division Magistrate Shakar-Chiktan, Mohd Shariff presided over the function to celebrate the 76th Independence Day at the historic Shagaran Polo Ground of Chiktan.

He hoisted the national flag, inspected the parade and took salute of the marching contingents, including the government schools and private schools participating in the march past during the event.

A large number of guests & spectators were present at the ocassion including all the sub division officers, army officers, elected representatives sarpanchs, panchs, and large numbers of Villagers.

The SDM, appreciated everyone in the Sub Division Shakar-Chiktan for making the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign successful one. He stated that many awareness programmes under AKAM were organised and executed by different departments of subdivision level.

SDM Shariff distributed consolation prizes and trophies among the students and also distributed appreciation trophy & mementos among all the Officers/officials who were given their outstanding performance in the Sub-Division Shakar Chiktan.

Later, SDM congratulates to all the Army officials, sarpanch, panchs, VEC’s and students on this Auspicious Occasion. He further thanked to all Sub division level officers and officials for making the event successful
